Greater Atlanta is somewhat famous for tearing down the old and putting up the new. Saint Agnes Tea Garden in Decatur, where this image was captured, is sadly, part of that tradition. Once an amazing and unique gathering spot, it is now completely gone. Before it was bulldozed, we sneaked in to make this image in a hollowed out Cadillac that sat among many interesting artifacts that one could find at St. Agnes Tea Garden and the adjacent Atlanta Dream Hostel. "Nest" is one of three images in this series that did not take place in my studio.
