This image was created shortly after my grandmother passed away. Many of the objects in this image were hers and the photographs on the wall are pictures of my family from her archives. This scene took six months to build as I glued each individual leaf by hand. I sewed the giant skirt from eight yards of fabric. This scene was opened as a tableau vivant as part of Altanta Celebrates Photography.
